Spent New Year at a lovely traditional Spanish hotel in a quiet village, great for touring by car. Impeccable cleaning and service standards, friendly staff, and good value for money. The hotel offered a selection of cold meats, yogurt, fruit and cakes, as well as an excellent menu of typical dishes. The bar was good, too. The room was traditional but with new fixtures, and there was a pleasant courtyard at the rear.
The breakfast was rather basic - bread, cakes, etc in packets, but it was early in the morning, so it was fine. The village was uninteresting, and there wasn't much to see unless you had your own transport.

Gem of a hotel. Lovely rooms, typical Spanish breakfasts, good food at reasonable price, excellent staff. Ideal location for visiting Trujillo, Caceres, and Guadalupe. Peaceful courtyard. Would visit again.
Couldn't stay longer.
